The Nordroom | 17 Shades of Pink in Fredrik Eklund’s Beverly Hills Home

Real estate agent and “Million Dollar Listing New York” star Fredrik Eklund and his husband Derek Kaplan are leasing out their colorful Beverly Hills home. The pair moved from New York City to Los Angeles in 2020, where they bought an East Coast-style traditional in the Coldwater Canyon area of Beverly Hills.

There are no white rooms in this 5,700-square-foot mansion. They collaborated with New York-based interior designer Paris Forino who loves to work with color. In the home, you will find 17 shades of pink as well as yellow and pastel blue.

Despite calling this”Beverly Hills house their “Forever Home” they are now leasing it out as they move to Miami. So, for now, anyone who can pay the $50,000 per month lease can enjoy this colorful LA house. And if you can’t afford that, you can enjoy these images from Fredrik Eklund’s colorful LA home.

The double-height entry is the perfect start to the home tour. The open plan space flows into the living room and the kitchen beyond.

While most colors in this home are subtle, they opted for some bolder shades with yellow curtains and Barbie pink accessories in this sitting room. The mirror is from the Dutch designer Sabine Marcelis and the new fireplace adds a graphic touch to the room.

A grand kitchen and family room are at the back of the house, with open doors leading to the garden. The copper, blue, and pink kitchen is the heart of the home.

The kitchen bar has coral suede bar stools that are combined with chianti red pendants, and a leather-finish marble island. The breakfast nook at the back has a custom-built banquette covered in Kvadrat and Svenskt Tenn fabric.

The family room uses soft textures and rounded shapes, making it super comfortable for a family. The bookshelves are color-coded, which is completely fitting for this home.

Behind the family room is the home office of Fredrik Eklund.

The home office is decorated in pastel blue and yellow, similar to the master bedroom.

The powder room is papered with the “Paradiset” wallpaper from Svenskt Tenn.

The master bedroom is a huge but comfortable space decorated in a yellow and blue color scheme. The walls are decorated with a Phillip Jeffries wallcovering.

The floor pattern in the master bathroom is designed by Paris Forino using six different shades of blush marble.

The twins have their own bedroom. The daughter has a pink room with cloud wallpaper from Cole & Son for Fornasetti and a Monte Design bed.

The son has a blue bedroom with a whale wallpaper by Cole & Son.

The garden is a wonderful green space with several lounge areas, a dining area with an outdoor kitchen, and a swimming pool.

The house is available unfurnished through Marcy Roth of The Eklund | Gomes Team at Douglas Elliman.
